My career has largely been within various IT roles. Starting with a Summer internship with the US Department and Housing Urban Development (HUD), student computer labs in college, and a short stint with Occidental Petroleum. I previously worked (now retired) from the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago where I had worked within S&R (Supervision and Regulation), and IT for 26 years. Previously I worked at the Federal Reserve Board in DC for 10 years.

I was one of the team leaders who helped initiate efforts to better address employee accessibility within the Federal Reserve System. At the time of my retirement, there were 500+ members within the community.

This blog is voluntary to share and combine my experiences, insights related to accessibility, technology and business to everyday problems and needs. Blog entries found on this site can be useful for those wanting to better understand usage of technology to solve personal and/or business problems.

The logo, an iceberg, designed by my daughter Jennifer, who is a middle-school STEM teacher.  We came up with the iceberg theme since my topics usually cover thoughts and issues not seen on the surface. Like an iceberg, only the small percentage of the iceberg is visible, while most of its mass hidden underneath the surface of the water.
 

Icebergs tumble/tip over as the top melts and the other sides and bottom are revealed. Hence, related topics and issues that are not widely mentioned or discussed in the mainstream will be covered within this blog site. 

How the blog name is derived: My last name Moore is synonymous with more + going into details + blog format = Mooretoitblogs.com

I reside in the greater Chicago area with two adult children. Hold a MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus, a BA from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., and an ITAM Certification.
